Since the time of its founder, BOUCHERON has been finding inspiration in nature and expressing the beauty and transience of nature through its high jewellery. Carte Blanche is a high jewelry collection created by the Maison&#39;s Creative Director, Claire Choisne, that combines creativity and innovation to make dreams come true. The latest collection of six pieces was born from this year&#39;s theme &quot;Impermanence&quot;. It reflects the Japanese aesthetic of &quot;wabi-sabi&quot; and the &quot;spirit of ikebana&quot; which means &quot;giving life to flowers&quot;. Inspired by nature, they capture fleeting moments that change from moment to moment, and at the same time, they make the fundamental beauty of nature eternal like a crystal, sublimating it into a wearable art piece. Insects gently nestle near delicate and graceful plants...MINA of TWICE, who has served as the Maison&#39;s Japan ambassador since 2024, empathizes with the aesthetic sense and unique sensibility of these six works, which capture the secret moments of the natural world.

COMPOSITON #06 The composition starts with tulips, eucalyptus, and a dragonfly. The light filtering through the plants is fantastic. The tulip that MINA holds in her arms is meticulously recreated, with the sense of volume created by the overlapping petals and the flowing curve of the stem. And of course, the pistil is in the center. Using the unique Tremblant technique, it is designed to tremble with every subtle movement. The tulip is combined with a eucalyptus branch, which has the lightness and delicacy of leaves. Diamonds set on both sides of the leaf add an elegant sparkle. And a dragonfly resting its wings gently next to a thin eucalyptus branch comes close to MINA&#39;s ear. The sapphire glass wings, laser engraved with the pattern of the vein, are coated with a thin layer of mother-of-pearl, giving them an iris-like sparkle.

COMPOSITON #05 The second composition consists of two thistles and a beetle, all in a soft biscuit white hue. Made from bio-based resin and using ultra-high resolution 3D printing, this thistle stands proudly in the sky, just as it is in nature. The thistle is a plant that has a deep connection to Boucheron. In the past, at the 1878 Paris World&#39;s Fair, founder Frédéric Boucheron presented a thistle leaf brooch that caused a sensation, was engraved in people&#39;s memories, and was the first to win the top prize unanimously. The beetle on MINA&#39;s shoulder symbolizes resilience and defense, embodying a strength that is different from that of the thistle. A world of expressive, shining white unfolds, made of white gold, diamonds, and white ceramic coating.

COMPOSITON #04 The third composition is a lively composition of two cyclamens, oat stalks, a caterpillar, and a butterfly. As the light flickers and changes in shadow, a variety of plants and animals coexist, giving the impression of a breath of life. Cyclamen with graceful petals, oats swaying in the wind, butterflies dancing in the air, and caterpillars moving slowly. It&#39;s a moment when you can almost hear the heartbeat of life. The cyclamen in MINA&#39;s hand is adorned with about 600 rose-cut diamonds. It gives a beautiful, transparent shine whether you look at it from the inside or outside of the petals. And the butterfly on her ear has white gold wings with snow-setting diamonds, combined with shiny black lacquer decoration. The contrast between the black and white gold with various expressions such as lacquer, matte black DLC, and black gold coating, and the diamonds is fantastic.

COMPOSITON #03 The fourth composition features irises, wisteria, and a stag beetle. The black and white base is accentuated by the sparkle of diamonds, highlighting the shadows. The iris is adorned with a black spinel bud and leaves decorated with rock crystal morning dew, set with two rows of diamonds. And the elegantly drooping wisteria also appears on MINA&#39;s profile. More than 100 parts are adjusted by hand to create a poetic expression of the piece. The combination of black anodized aluminum, black ceramic petals and titanium stem - especially the small petals, with white ceramic - creates a delicate and natural jet-black shine. COMPOSITON #02 The fifth composition features a magnolia and a stick insect. Claire wanted to &quot;reinterpret the majestic magnolia flower from a new perspective.&quot; By 3D scanning a real magnolia branch and its buds, she was able to faithfully reproduce its original form while also realistically expressing the dynamics of the branch growing horizontally. The petals are made of aluminum with a black Cerakote treatment. The stamens are white gold with a double coating of black ruthenium and black rhodium. The center of the flower is white gold with a diamond. Setting it upside down creates a unique reflection and contrast. The buds are decorated with two types of diamonds, rose cut and round brilliant cut, set on a rhodium-coated white gold base. A total of over 11,000 diamonds are meticulously set in this stunning hand-made piece, which can be described as the pinnacle of craftsmanship.

COMPOSITON #01 The sixth composition, a poppy, a sweet pea and a butterfly, closes the collection as one of the cycles of nature comes to an end. The sixth composition, a blackened titanium base with branches embedded with black spinels, invites the viewer into a deep darkness. The poppy, with its deep pleats and voluminous petals, embodies the contrast between splendor and disappearance. The inside of the flower is finished with a Vantablack coating, dyed a light-absorbing jet black, creating a strong visual void in which all details are erased. In contrast to the emptiness inside, the outside maintains the fullness of the flower&#39;s shape. It is a dialogue between the visible and the invisible, the complete and the empty. In the center of the flower, black spinels are set alternately with the culet up and the culet down, emitting a faint sparkle that penetrates the darkness. The afterglow of the sparkle melts into complete darkness.
